Soy burns at a lower temperature than paraffin
The first time you light your candle let it burn for one hour for every inch of its diameter.
This will allow the pool of wax to extend to the outside rim and avoid forming a 'canyon' in the centre.
Burning your candle this way sets its 'memory' so each time you re-light it will remember to burn out to the rim.
Keep the wick trimmed to a quarter of an inch.
