Liehsja began the folk harp at the age of nine in Aberdeen, Scotland. On moving to Sussex she gained a scholarship to study the pedal harp with Helen Arnold.
She toured with Brighton Youth Orchestra to Hong Kong in 1999 and to Italy with the East Sussex Youth Orchestra the following year. In 2003 Liehsja made her debut as a soloist with the Keele Philharmonic Orchestra touring to Paris and across Brittany performing Debussy's 'Danses'.
As a freelance harpist Liehsja is in demand for solo work, orchestral playing, weddings, parties and functions and has recently performed at a number of venues including Kensington Palace, the London Carlton Towers Hotel and The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
