Better to give than receive another toaster…

Don't struggle with your gift list - if you've got everything you need already, then use your big day to make a big difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK. Ask your friends and family to donate to the NSPCC instead of buying you gifts.

It's the perfect way to celebrate your special day in a unique and positive way. What's more, you won't receive any unwanted gifts and you won't have to keep a careful list of who gave you what either!

How we can help you
Include our donation cards with your wedding invites and ask your guests to make a donation instead of buying a gift or as part of your gift list. Your friends and family can send their donation directly to us and we'll thank them on your behalf and then let you know how much has been raised altogether.

Alternatively you could collect donations on the day using donation boxes or envelopes on table settings or at the bar. Or if you'd prefer you could do it all online at www.justgiving.com/nspcc where you can invite your guests to donate through this website.

Inspirational Wedding Favours
Looking for unique and inspiring wedding favours? Donate to the NSPCC and give your guests something special to remember by using our personalised wedding favour cards.

What a difference you can make
Your support can make a real difference to the lives of children who desperately need our help. Here are some examples of how your support can help:

£10 could buy dolls used in play therapy sessions which help children overcome the trauma of abuse. It can help a child express their emotions and act out their experience of abuse which they may find difficult talking about due to the pain it causes.

£25 could pay for a qualified child protection officer to answer calls to the NSPCC Helpline for one hour. The Helpline is a free and confidential service, open 24/7, which receives hundreds of calls every day from adults who are concerned about the safety of a child.

£35 could cover one month's freephone call costs for a ChildLine counsellor. This service is vital for children who desperately need to speak out but have nowhere else to turn.
