Use companies who hire out venue decoration items, such as table linen & chair covers, table centre peices, flowers, plants, etc... Hiring as much as you can for your wedding is a good alternative to having a lot of new items made for such a short period of use.
For floral decoration, use a florist who can source locally grown and / or organic flowers.
Alternatively you could use Fair Trade flowers, available through some participating florists and online stores.
